MICROFINISH
Champions Choice Microfinish is a very effective cutting compound for all tapping, drilling, broaching, turning and reaming operations. It is a super lubricant effective on spinning, stamping and forming jobs, as well as on work supported between centers. Microfinish is highly successful on most metals, both ferrous and non-ferrous, producing astounding results in improved finish with a marked reduction of seizures and chipping. Tap breakage is likewise reduced, with closer fits and, in large measure, elimination of scrap losses.
Microfinish is ejected as a narrow stream easily targeted at the point of tool entry. It adheres tenaciously as a thick viscous foam similar to shaving cream to cutting tool edges and surfaces being machined going 2 to 3 times further than liquid cutting compounds because it adheres to the tool more tightly. Microfinish surrounds the tap with a protective anti-friction film that reduces tapping torque, produces a finer thread with better finish and extends tap life.
The foam feature makes for very economical use; there is little runoff waste and it does not evaporate (non-volatile).
(Microfinish contains no 1,1,1-Trichloroethane or other ozone depleting solvents.)
